Another one of these vintage throwback vehicles has made its way here to our inventory, the first we’ve seen from the ‘70s. We’ve had a few ‘80s models and even one from the ‘60s, but this is the first classic Toyota Land Cruiser from the ‘70s we’ve had a chance to highlight. This 1975 FJ43 Soft Top is an icon, and its bronze exterior somehow makes it look even more perfectly vintage. It’s currently for sale right here in North Miami Beach FL, of course!

1975 FJ43 Specs & Features
We’ve spoken about the Land Cruiser and the FJ43 specifically in the past, so perhaps you’ve already got information on the model in mind. One of the really cool things about the FJ43 line that this belongs to is that it is an extremely rare version. Not only is it rare to see vehicles built nearly five decades ago in such good condition, but this was a rare version even back then. The FJ43 was a two-door medium wheelbase vehicle with four-wheel drive and either a soft or hard top, in this case a soft top.
Powered by a 3.9L 6-cylinder engine, the FJ43 is capable of generating 125 horsepower alongside 209 pound-feet of torque. As with many of these vintage Land Cruiser models, the cabin is set up differently than modern sport utility vehicles. Behind the front seats, there are two foldable jump seats that run from the back of the front seats to the back of the vehicle, perpendicular to the cockpit. The seats can fold up to maximize cargo space, but while they’re down rear seat occupants would be looking at each other instead of out the front windshield.
This is just a great throwback vehicle that would make the perfect addition to anyone’s collection, so don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you’re interested in this Toyota vehicle.
