Powered by a 327 in3 V8 engine, this Corvette is capable of generating up to 375 horsepower. That was an incredible amount of power back in the early sixties, and its 5.8 second 0-60 miles per hour acceleration time was nothing to sneeze at. Nor was its 14.5 s quarter-mile at 102 mph! Back when the Sting Ray first came out, it was all the rage in the automotive marketplace thanks not only to its sheer power, but because it also delivered incredible handing and adhesion to the road.
