Naturally, the most important aspect of a vehicle like this Porsche 911 is its engine. Powered by a 3.6L V6 engine, the Carrera Turbo generates 400 horsepower and pound-feet of torque, which is plenty of power to deliver an enjoyable time on the road. That kind of power translates to some pretty favorable performance statistics, namely a 0-60 miles per hour time of 3.7 seconds! The 911 Turbo is also capable of running a standing quarter mile in 12.1 at a speed of 113.1 mph. Other impressive performance specs: it came to a complete stop from a speed of 60 mph in 99 feet and did an acceleration/deceleration run from 0 to 100 and back to 0 in 13 seconds.
While there aren’t quite as many premium features found in the ’96 911 as there would be today, there is still plenty to keep you comfortable and enjoying your experience on the road each time rubber hits the pavement.
