Performance Specs & Premium Features

The vehicle was a roadster version of the Ferrari 550 Maranello, a front-engine V12 GT coupe. Created to truly honor the definition of a barchetta vehicle, the roadster didn’t even come with a real convertible top, rather just a cloth-made soft top to protect the cabin from rain. It was designed with a deeper windshield to improve aerodynamics, roll-over hoops just behind the two seats for safety in the event of a collision, more cargo space thanks to a longer rear section that was added to enhance the design. Finally, the 550 Barchetta was equipped with 19” alloy wheels unique to the vehicle.

When it comes to performance, the vehicle was created with the same mechanical aspects as the 550 Maranello it was based on. Even still, performance changed due to some of the design differences, including the lack of a roof. This made the vehicle a bit slower than its coupe counterpart, but still quick nonetheless. It could get up to 62 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 186 miles per hour.

Finally, each vehicle received a numbered plaque on the dashboard with the signature of Sergio Pininfarina. You can tell each time you get into the vehicle that your Ferrari was the 242nd of 448, which is pretty special. We don’t imagine this collector’s piece will stick around long, so be sure to get in touch if you’re interested in making it your own.
