Let’s start by diving right into the power and performance of this affordable beast. The 2010 GT-R Premium is powered by a 3.8L twin-turbocharged V6 engine. While that is much smaller than some of the exotic vehicles we carry, this sports coupe manages to dole out a very respectable 485 horsepower to keep performance buffs’ appetites sated.
That kind of power makes the lightweight GT-R Premium capable of hitting 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds, which is actually much faster than many of the exotic vehicles we’ve looked at recently, including the 2006 Dodge Viper & 2005 Porsche Carerra, which hit 60 in 3.9 and 3.5 seconds respectively.
Simply power specs and times aren’t the only things that make the GT-R interesting, of course. It’s packed with plenty of great design cues and features that not only enhance the sports car’s performance but other aspects as well.
