Performance Specs & Premium Features
The BMW motorcycle is powered by a 999CC water-cooled in-line 4-cylinder engine capable of generating 199 horsepower alongside 84 pound-feet of torque. Combining the engine with a six-speed transmission and an oil-bath, multi-disc slipper clutch makes for incredible performance and handling on the road. When it comes to suspension, it features an inverted 46mm fork up front and an aluminum double-strut swingarm with central spring strut in back.
As for brakes, there are twin-floating 320 mm discs with four-piston fixed calipers on the front wheel and a single 220mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper in the back. The 17” aluminum wheels are wrapped in a 120/70ZR-17 tire up front and 190/55ZR-17 tire in the back. In total, the bike weighs just less than 450 pounds.
All of this combines to create a motorcycle that can get to 60 miles per hour from a complete stop in just 2.8 seconds and then run a quarter-mile in 10.2 s. It has a top speed of 125 miles per hour.
