At the end of last month, we covered a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and mentioned it wasn’t the only motorcycle in stock. Today, we wanted to cover this other incredible model, a 2016 Ducati Panigale 959 that we currently have for sale right here at Prestige Imports in North Miami Beach FL. The Panigale nameplate has been in use since 2012 with the 1199 Panigale. The 959 was first introduced in 2016, making this model one of the first of its kind.

Performance Specs & Premium Features

Powered by a liquid-cooled 955 cc V-twin engine that’s tethered to a 6-speed, wet multi-plate chain drive transmission, this Ducati sportbike is capable of generating 157 horsepower alongside 79.2 pound-feet of torque. Its front suspension system is a fully adjustable Showa while its rear is a fully adjustable Sachs, and its front brakes feature Brembo radial monobloc calipers. The bike has a dry weight of 388 pounds.

All of those numbers and mechanical components together lead us to a few very important statistics. It’s capable of hitting 60 miles per hour from a complete stop in just 2.8 seconds and it can run a quarter-mile in 10.3 s, and it has a top speed of 169 mph.

If you’re curious where the bike’s name came from, it’s named after Borgo Panigale, a small manufacturing town in northern Italy.
