2017 July 4th Events Miami Beach FL
While it seems hard to believe, 2017 is already almost halfway over. As with every year, the best way to mark the halfway point is with one of the biggest parties of the year, July 4th. If you’re looking for some solid Independence Day events in Miami Beach FL or the surrounding area, we’ve got a few good choices for you to consider right here.
Freedom Festival
For a free event in Miami, you can head to Miccosukee Resort & Gaming any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a fun-filled day of carnival and airboat rides, water slides and even alligator wrestling shows. While the Freedom Festival doesn’t include a fireworks show of its own, it does end early enough to give you plenty of time to head over to somewhere else in Miami that will be putting on a show, like one of the following events.
North Miami Independence Day Celebration by the Bay
If you’re looking for an Independence Day Celebration by the Bay in North Miami, then you can head to Biscayne Bay Campus on the grounds at the Kovens Center for fireworks at sundown. The gates to the campus will open at 7 p.m. with free admission and parking. The evening will be filled with live music and other entertainment, plus a firework display after dusk. While things like blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray are highly encouraged, alcohol, coolers and personal fireworks are not permitted.
America’s Birthday Bash
Last but not least, there is of course America’s Birthday Bash, one of the biggest Fourth of July events in the nation. Presented by Budweiser at Bayfront Park in Miami, America’s Birthday Bash offers a family fun zone, a Budweiser beer garden and stage and of course a firework display after dusk. The park will open at 10 a.m.
