We don’t often highlight our own Lamborghini models in these used car spotlights, as we typically talk about them enough on the website. But today, we wanted to highlight a certain incredibly rare vehicle that was a special edition one-off model, the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario Coupe – created to celebrate the 100th birthday of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini. We’ve currently got one of these models, of which only twenty were ever built, for sale here in North Miami Beach FL.

In addition to being created as a celebration, the Centenario was also designed to showcase new technologies. For instance, it was the first Lamborghini vehicle to feature a rear-wheel steering system meant to enhance low-speed handling and high-speed stability. It was also the first model to feature the next-gen 10.1-inch infotainment system. Aerodynamics were also advanced for the model, including features like a twin-deck splitter and the largest rear diffusers in history.
The vehicle, which was based on the Aventador SV at the time, is powered by a 6.5L V12 engine capable of generating 759 horsepower alongside 509 pound-feet of torque. Tethered to a 7-speed ISR semi-automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system, the vehicle promises an enjoyable experience on the road each time you slide behind the wheel. That kind of power enables the Centenario to get up to 62 miles per hour from zero in just 2.8 seconds. The vehicle can even get from zero to 186 mph in 23.5 seconds and continue on to hit a top speed of 217 mph. Plus, it takes just 98 feet for the vehicle to come to a complete stop from 62 mph.
