Engine Specs, Performance Times & Premium Features
For the C7 generation of Chevy Corvette, the Z51 Performance Package features quite a few great enhancements over the regular C7 Corvette. The package adds dry-sump lubrication, close-ratio gearing, a transmission-cooling system, 19” front & 20” rear aluminum alloy wheels, dual-compound Michelin tires, larger brake rotors and cooling ducts, an electronic limited-slip differential, differential cooling system and a uniquely tuned chassis.
This specific Corvette Z51 also features the 3LT interior package, which further enhances the vehicle with a Bose 10-speaker audio system, a one-year subscription to SiriusXM radio, an HD radio receive, a color head-up display, Performance Data Recorder, the memory package, navigation, heated and ventilated seats that feature both power lumbar and bolster adjustment, premium Napa leather seats and leather wrapping on the dashboard, instrument cluster, center console and door panels.
As for performance, the 2018 Corvette is powered by a 6.2L V8 engine capable of generating 460 horsepower alongside 465 pound-feet of torque. That power enables it to get from 0-60 in just 3.6 seconds and to run the quarter-mile in 11.8 s.
