The 2017 Geneva Auto Show has recently concluded, and there was certainly a large portion of news that directly affects our North Miami Beach dealership. Case in point: the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT Concept, which is truly unlike anything we’ve seen from the famed German automaker. Let’s get to know if a little better, shall we?

The first thing to jump off the page when looking at the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT Concept is certainly its free-flowing, effortless design, which represents a clean break from the more angular models of old. The silhouette, complete with a spacious 4-door body configuration, provides space for longer passengers to ride in comfort, while the large luggage bay in the rear allows for larger items to be stowed with ease.

A handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo is mate to a high-performance electric motor; all considered, the GT Concept launches with the power of 805 horsepower, while its zero-to-sixty-mph sprint takes less than three seconds. Meanwhile, its fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system, along with the EQ Power+ hybrid technology, keep the vehicle perfectly stable, even at high speeds. It’s the sort of astonishing performance that ensures that the future of Mercedes-AMG is every bit as exciting as its past.
