Powered by an eight-liter, W-configuration, 16-cylinder, quad-turbocharged engine, the 2019 Bugatti Chiron is capable of generating 1,500 horsepower. Yes, 1,500 horsepower. That is an incredible amount of power that gives the Chiron the ability to hit 60 miles per hour in just 2.4 seconds, continue onto 124 mph in 6.5 seconds, and then push it even harder to 186 mph at 13.6 s. In 2017, the Chiron – driven by Colombian racer Juan Pablo Montoya – broke a world record by accelerating from 0 to 249 miles per hour and then back to a complete standstill at 0 in 41.96 seconds, needing only 2 miles to do it. It reached top speed in 32.6 s and needed 9.4 to come to a stop.
