The McLaren Senna is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 that’s capable of generating 789 horsepower alongside 590 pound-feet of torque. It is the most powerful road car engine ever produced by McLaren, which is certainly saying something. That kind of power mixed with some of the other performance features makes for an incredible machine.
Thanks to the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive system, the Senna is capable of getting from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds, or to 124 mph in 6.8 seconds. Most cars can’t even get to 60 mph that quick. It can also run the standing quarter-mile in 10 seconds flat and has a maximum speed of 208 mph. But equally as impressive is its braking system, which allows the McLaren to get from a speed of 124 mph to a complete stop in just 100 meters, or 30 meters from 62 mph.
