Both the 2017 Cadillac CTS-V and Escalade prestige vehicles are equipped with a 6.2L V8 engine, and the engine is quite capable and impressive in each. But Caddy engineers decided to bump the engine to the next level for the DPi-V.R prototype race car, a vehicle that was undefeated at the 2017 mid-season mark of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. At the North American International Auto Show in 2015, Ford introduced fans to an incredible reimagining of one of their most iconic performance vehicles, the Ford GT, nearly 50 years after the GT40 won the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. Things have been slow since its initial unveiling, but we finally have some news about when the high-performance sports car will be available. Ford has stated that it plans on having the Ford GT ready for wide consumer consumption by 2020, despite production having started late last year. 2017 and 2018 models will be reserved for select buyers, while 2019 vehicles will be reserved for reserved buyers that were passed over in the initial selection. Audi has had a long-standing relationship with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, arguably one of the most popular and successful film franchises of all time. With ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ releasing on the silver screen very soon, we’re happy to announce that a few Audi models will be making appearances in the film. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will be seen behind the wheel of an Audi R8 V10 Spyder, while Peter Parker (Tom Holland) himself will be seen in the driver’s seat of an Audi TTS Roadster. But even more exciting is the fact that the all-new Audi A8 will make its debut in the film being driven by Stark’s chauffeur Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau).
