Some people forget that there’s more to the Land Rover lineup than just the Range Rover. While the Range is certainly the most famous and popular model on the lineup, there have been a few other nameplates through the years, including the Defender. For the 2018 model year, Land Rover released a new version of their most popular vehicle, the Range Rover. The new model is called the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Velar, and as the brand has done in the past, they’ve released a special version of the vehicle to commemorate the event: the Velar First Edition. What’s perhaps most unique about the vehicle we’ll be highlighting today is its incredibly long name. The vehicle in question is a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged Ebony Edition, a special edition trim level of the popular luxury SUV that just happens to have a mouthful of a name. But that’s not what makes it exciting or luxurious, so we thought we’d dive into some of that information to give you a better idea of just what this vehicle has to offer that its name can’t quite convey, no matter how long it is.

Sixty years ago, co-founder of Magnum Photos, George Rodger, drove a Land Rover vehicle 8,000 miles across the Sahara Desert on a photographic journey. Now, after all those years, the two huge companies will partner once again for a series of works titled Ultimate Vistas.
