Here’s Your First Glimpse of the New Ferrari 812 Superfast

Ferrari is making moves, friends. There certainly comes a time when long-popular models give way to refined new upstarts, and what you see on this page is believed to be the eventual replacement for the legendary F12 Berlinetta. Feast your eyes on your next new obsession, the Ferrari 812 Superfast, and yes, “Superfast” is actually part of its name. Let’s dig deeper.

Ferrari 812 Superfast Details and Photos

For those of us who were well-versed in the finer points of the F12 Berlinetta, you might remember that it rolled with a 6.3L V12, which was certainly no slouch. Yet, the new 812 Superfast goes a step further with a 6.5L V12, upping its overall production to a whopping 769 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpms. That sound you hear is a thousand current Ferrari owners finding their title paperwork in hopes of making a trade.

How Fast does the Ferrari 812 Superfast Go?

We’re glad that you asked. After all, if it’s calling itself the Superfast, it’d better…well, you know where we’re going with this. First off, know that this 6.5L platform is the most powerful front-engine Ferrari ever made, so it certainly came to play. It reaches 62 mph from a cold stop in just 2.9 seconds, while its top speed is a knuckle-whitening 211 mph. Wow, that really is super fast, right? We’ll stop now.

This model is expected to get its full reveal at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show, and we’ll likely start seeing it at Prestige Imports at some point in the next year.
