Hennessey Venom F5 Aims to Beat Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 304 MPH Record

They’ve been producing supercars for awhile now. And their latest vehicle, the Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar is taking aim at the top speed world record.
So, just how fast is the Hennessey Venom F5?
Performance Specs and Top Speed
The Venom F5 will be powered by a twin-turbo 6.6L V8 that produces 1,817 horsepower. It has a power-to-weight ratio of 1.34 hp/kg. That is higher than any road car in existence. Top speed is for this American hypercar is currently unknown. However, CEO John Hennessey told Car & Driver magazine “the F5 will make top speed runs on the 3.2-mile runway of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, but also on public roads if this proves insufficiently long to validate the car’s aimed-for 311-mph top speed.” The Venom F5 has been confirmed to have gone well over the 200-mph mark at only half its power output during testing, so the end result will be undoubtedly fast.
