What do we know thus far?
Details are still incredibly scarce at this point in time, and it is looking more and more like the new Lotus sport utility vehicle won’t be hitting market until 2022 at the earliest – so those details might not be coming anytime soon. There are some very early patent images circulating the internet which might lead to some speculation, but confirmed details are slim.
There are some other rumors circulating, however. For instance, many people think that the future crossover could be underpinned by a Volvo platform, considering Geely Global – the automotive manufacturer that owns both Lotus Cars and Volvo Cars – owns both companies, it wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine them borrowing the platform for its sister company.
As soon as confirmed details become available from the Lotus company itself, we’ll be sure to fill you in. But right now, we don’t have any more confirmed details to spread. We’re simply crossing our fingers that information becomes available soon and that the vehicle is as incredible as every other Lotus car has been!
