What is the most powerful street-legal Porsche 911 model?

Porsche is not only known for its luxury and premium content, but for the high-powered punch it packs into every model. The Porsche 911 is certainly one of the most recognizable high-performance exotic cars on the market, and there are plenty of performance and Porsche enthusiasts alike who are looking for the most power version of the model, but one that’s still street-legal. Fortunately for them, Porsche just introduced it earlier this year, and it will be available next year… as the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

Performance Specs

The GT2 RS will be powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine. That might not sound like an engine you would associate with the most powerful, street-legal Porsche 911 model made, but indeed it is. The engine will generate 700 horsepower alongside 553 pound-feet of torque, which is an increase of 80 and 37 respectively over the 2011 model of the same name. The car will only weight 3,241 pounds when the tank is filled up, hit 60 miles per hours from 0 in just 2.7 seconds, and reach an incredible max speed of 211 mph. This Porsche 911 is a beast, to say the least.

Sporty Design

Of course, even when Porsche is trying to create the most powerful version of one of its vehicles every built, it doesn’t skimp on everything else. This model is just as luxuriously sporty as one would expect, even as it fires on all cylinders. The interior is outfitted with red Alcantara, black leather and some carbon fiber trim pieces that will make you feel like you’re in the cockpit of a racecar, while the exterior screams the exact same thing.
