New supercar with top speed over 300 mph

British-based 7X Design Reveals the Coach-build 7X Rayo Supercar

Here at Prestige Imports in North Miami Beach, FL, our lifeblood is rare cars. Whether is a 1968 Bizzarrini GT Strada 5300 or a Bugatti Veyron, we love hard-to-get vehicles. And it doesn’t get harder to get than coach-made custom models.

The 7X Rayo is the newest bespoke supercar aiming at a top speed of over 300 mph. Learn more below.

7X Rayo Specs

The 7X Rayo is a custom vehicle. It’s based on an older model of the Lamborghini Huracan, but has bespoke carbon fiber body work, as well as a new engine. It packs a twin-turbo 5.2L V10 engine under the bonnet (as our friends across the ponds say). The output of the engine hasn’t been officially tested, but it has been claimed that the engine produces in the ballpark of 1,900 horsepower. For reference, the base model Lamborghini Huracan it’s based on puts out 601 horsepower. According to Envisage Group, the company that did the carbon-fiber bodywork for Rayo, 7X Design is hoping for a top speed of 300 mph, making it one of the fastest cars ever made.

Other 7X Vehicles

The 7X portfolio is small, but impressive. Its first vehicle was the GTO Vision, a custom build of the Ferrari 488 GTB. 7X is also currently working on the GT1, though details regarding this vehicle are scarce. The only official data for the GT1 are two work-in-progress pictures on the 7X Design website.
